Mrs. Donna Fish
Hi! I'm Mrs. Fish, and this is my website.
I came to Monclova Christian Academy in the fall of 2000, the second year of its existence. I've enjoyed watching MCA grow and deepen in opportunities.
I love telling the story of how the Lord drew my heart to teaching in a Christian school. When I graduated from BGSU with my teaching degree, I taught one year in a public school, and that was enough for me! The following summer, my husband Jon and I moved to New Hampshire, and I became a very happy and fulfilled stay-at-home mom.
Once the kids began to enter school, we made the decision that I would become a contributor to our family's budget...anything but teaching! But the Lord, in His wisdom and grace, drew my heart to Himself and presented me with the opportunity to teach in a Christian school. I was terrified!
And so my adventure began. At the end of my first day in the classroom, I knew I had found my calling in Christ, and I have never changed my mind. MCA is my second Christian school ministry, and 2015/2016 is my new favorite school year.
I love your kids, and my primary goal is to challenge and strengthen them spiritually. After that comes math and English/language arts. I want my students to enjoy and be successful in each of their classes as they mature and become the men and women the Lord desires them to be.
